And I Wasn't Even Trying!
During a brief period of boredom last week I took an online IQ test. It was from a supposedly reputable place and it was free so I gave it a shot. I can't recall ever taking an actual IQ test before, and I was curious if I was as smart as I think I am. I figured doing a fairly anonymous online test was a good route to go - just in case the numbers were "off". I also told myself I wasn't going to "try real hard". That way, I had the "I wasn't even trying" line to use. All I would need to do is stick a "But" or an "And" in front of it (e.g. "The test says I'm a moron BUT I wasn't even trying!" or "The test says I'm a genius AND I wasn't even trying!").

I would love to know what your score was. I took one once and ended up feeling quite intelligent!!
Modesty prevents me from revealing my actual score but I must say I have been feeling rather smug about it. (Of course, if things had turned out differently I never would have told anyone that I even took the test.)
I tried to take an online IQ test once, but when I got to the "show me the results" button, it said I had to first purchase something. I never found out my score, so I'm just assuming I'm a genius.
Y'know, the one I took told me I needed to pay too (after being touted as a free test). They wanted me to pay for the detailed results but there was a less-than-obvious link where my overall number was provided for free.
I assume anyone who regularly reads this blog must be a genius!
