Ugly Shoes

While walking down an office hall,
I came upon some shoes,
That made me gasp and shudder,
And my cookies almost lose.

They didn't look like shoes at all,
But more like actual feet.
Yet, the color was unnatural,
Like that of rotten meat.

The girl that wore these grotesque things,
Was fair and kind of cute.
But her footwear choice was ogre-ish,
And made her seem a brute.

I hope these shoes do not become,
The latest fashion trend.
For then I'll see them everywhere,
And that would be my end.
